Gidon Kremer brings a concert program to Leipzig with the Kremerata Baltica that oscillates between classical works and new, personal reflections. Mendelssohn's op. 81 pieces in orchestral version instead of the original for string quartet, a cycle inspired by Schubert's “Winterreise”, as well as Mozart's E flat major Piano Concerto with Lucas Debargue build a bridge between tradition and modernity.
