Auf den Spuren des Mendelssohn-Denkmals

To mark the Year of Jewish Culture in Saxony TACHELES 2026, the Mendelssohn House is devoting itself intensively to the music of composers of Jewish origin and influence. The series will conclude on November 9, marking the 90th anniversary of the destruction of the Mendelssohn monument in front of the Leipzig Gewandhaus by the National Socialists. The day before, on Sunday, November 8, we will commemorate this event with a theme day.
