Mendelssohn 2009
In the year 2009 music enthusiasts all over the world are celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. The Mendelssohn societies, associations and music institutions, including radio stations, have decided to cooperate in order to honour the composer, cosmopolite, and organizer of culture with a comprehensive programme including a number of great concerts, readings, scientific conferences as well as exhibitions and educational offers at museums.
